- Include Apple Cider Vinegar in your daily diet.
A tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar in the morning will do wonders for your immune system (thanks to its high levels of ascorbic acid i.e. vitamin C.) It detoxifies the blood (cleansing out the waste from protein digestion) and balances the body’s pH.
Raw apple cider vinegar is also great for anyone trying to slim down and a tablespoon mixed with a cup of warm water in the morning (30 minutes before eating) will aid weight loss.
- Consider intermittent fasting.
A 24hr fast (we suggest from midday one day to midday the next) is easier to commit to than a long and arduous diet. 24hrs, preferably once a week or once a month, and you’re good! This fasting helps the body kill off pathogens and re-stimulates the digestive system.
- Limit your consumption of sugary drinks.
Opt for natural fruit juices (these still contain a relatively high quantity of natural sugar so we suggest watering down 60% juice to 40% water) and teas (we have delicious locally produced moringa teas from Guaman infusions.)
- Take a brisk walk! Include 30 minutes of activity into your daily routine.
Do something every day. Challenge yourself to do 30 minutes of exercise everyday. It doesn’t have to be exhausting. The important point is to raise your heart rate safely so that it stays strong and healthy.
Whether you’re an exercise-lover or exercise-shy make sure to exercise appropriate to your age, size, and energy needs. Do not to push yourself beyond your limits. Rest and Relaxation is equally crucial to a healthy mind, body, and heart.
