Lamberts Alpha Lipoic Acid is a dietary supplement of alpha lipoic acid (ALA), also known as thioctic acid. It is a vitamin-like substance that acts as an antioxidant while contributing to energy production.
Alpha lipoic acid is found in small quantities in foods such as liver, spinach and broccoli. It enhances the antioxidant activity of other vitamins such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Coenzyme Q10 and Glutathione.
Studies have shown that it can help lower blood glucose levels and improve insulin resistance.
